
Without strenuous effort, Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) energizes and relaxes you, releasing muscles as it tones them. You roll your body over specially designed balls in sequences that follow the natural direction of muscle release.
The balls apply traction that creates space around joints and vertebrae as they lengthen the muscles.
With repeated practice of the YBR sequences, you soften the layers of chronic muscular gripping. You unwind and free the body to give its parts the space they need to function fully and relieve the effects of physical stress.

Other props used in YBR are foot and hand "wakers". They bring flexiblilty to hands and feet and help free the body's patterns of constriction. With the increased flexibility, ease and balance gained from YBR practice, the effortless effort and equlibrium of yoga asana becomes possible.
