Class levels are based on the Iyengar Method syllabus which builds on progressive levels of asana practice. These levels reflect integration and refinement, the culturing of mind, body, and spirit.


fundamentals   preliminary basics

level 1              beginners 
                        (focus on standing poses also including shoulderstand,
                        basic twists, preliminary backbends and seated poses)

level 2              intermediate 
                        (introduces headstand, backbends
                        and more advanced postures)

level 3              advanced intermediate


Kids, middle school, and high school classes may be organized by request.
